Description
Dura Shield L-P is a high performance, water based surface hardener based on cross linked lithium silicates.
The benefit to Lithium based silicates are they penetrate deeper into the concrete matrix, providing greater long term protection.
These silicates react with the calcium hydroxide within the concrete matrix to harden the concrete surface and increase its abrasive resistance. This reaction reduces the absorption of liquids, making the concrete surface dust free and easier to clean. Dura Shield L-P makes the concrete surface extremely dense and liquid repellent, producing a long lasting and durable flooring solution. A test sample should always be prepared and allowed to cure prior to proceeding.
